Paintings by James Skeet, who ia a member of the Navajo Tribe. He has been painting since he was a young child. He uses acrylic or oil colors and paints in a realistic stlye. Most of his paintings are done on stretched canvas. He has also completed paintings on buildings and others on deer hide.

 





Early Monsoons
Measuring 28" x 22", and using acrylic paints on stretched canvas, this original painting represents the landscape South of Chinle, AZ during the monsoon season when the land begins to come alive with the new rains. The monsoon season takes place in July and August each year.
